The Slow Gentle Glassbook House

When imagining a home the ‘focus’ of the space often feels somewhat abstract. Conversation, hospitality, art, ‘coziness’ are all words that come to mind but the materiality of that is usually found in a collage of textures, objects, spaces, etc. However, with the glassbook house, the process is reversed, with a focus on glass and books being the key. From there the space becomes all the things associated with, well, a good bookshelf and light: bright, lived in, welcoming, slow, accommodating.
